 | Introduction to GXT311 The GXT311 series is a family of high-precision, low-power digital temperature sensors, available in two models: GXT311A and GXT311B. They are suitable for temperature measurement in communication, computer, consumer electronics, environmental, industrial, and instrumentation applications. The GXT311H series offers a temperature measurement accuracy of ≤±0.3℃ within the normal operating range of -40℃ to +125℃, while the GXT311N series provides an accuracy of ≤±0.5℃ within the same range. All GXT311 series products feature excellent temperature linearity and support an extended temperature measurement mode, expanding the range to -55℃ to +150℃. The GXT311 series operates with a rated supply voltage of 1.4V~5.5V and has a maximum quiescent current as low as 40µA during temperature measurement. It integrates a 16-bit ADC with a resolution down to 0.00390625℃. The GXT311 series adopts a 3.00mm×3.00mm DFN-8 package and is compatible with SMBus and I2C interfaces. The GXT311A series can support up to 32 slaves on a single bus, while the GXT311B series can accommodate up to 16 slaves. All models in the GXT311 series are equipped with SMBus alert functionality. Additionally, the GXT311B provides an input pin for the host to reset the chip. |
