![]() | KTH5701Chip Overview: KTH5701 is a 3‑axis digital‑output Hall‑effect sensor IC, integrating three independent Hall sensors for the X‑axis, Y‑axis and Z‑axis respectively. Its signal chain adopts high‑precision operational amplifiers, and analog signals are converted into digital outputs via a 16‑bit ADC. The external host can read measurement data through either SPI or I2C interface. In addition, an on‑chip temperature sensor is embedded for magnetic‑field temperature compensation. KTH5701 supports multiple operating modes including continuous‑sensing mode, wake‑up‑sleep mode and single‑shot measurement mode to accommodate diverse application scenarios. The BUTT_OUT pin can realize button‑function detection between the magnet and the chip; it can also be configured as Trigger mode to initiate a single‑shot measurement. Meanwhile, KTH5701 is equipped with the CORDIC algorithm to output planar angles for the XY, XZ and YZ planes. Amplitude‑trim registers are implemented to greatly simplify both on‑axis and off‑axis knob applications. Magnetic‑field threshold detection is available for the selected XY, XZ or YZ plane. A single chip is capable of simultaneous detection for both knob and button use‑cases. Featuring high integration and high application flexibility, this device is widely suitable for a broad range of scenarios. |
