KTH31XX (KTH3101/KTH3102/KTH3103/KTH3105/KTH3110/KTH3113) is a proportional linear Hall effect magnetic sensor IC. It linearly converts magnetic field strength into analog voltage output and can identify both North and South magnetic poles. Featuring non-contact measurement with zero mechanical wear, it serves as an ideal replacement for traditional mechanical detection components, and meets full-range magnetic field acquisition requirements including current sensing, displacement detection, vibration monitoring, weight measurement and rotational speed measurement.

Precise quiescent midpoint voltage of VDD/2 output with no magnetic field applied:
  • When the South pole approaches the chip: Output > VDD/2

  • When the North pole approaches the chip: Output < VDD/2

A single chip is able to distinguish magnetic polarities and magnetic field intensity, greatly simplifying post-stage circuit design.
