Junmin Technology partners with the original manufacturer Kuantai Core to launch the KTH2562L series, an AEC-Q100 qualified automotive-grade digital bipolar latch Hall sensor. Equipped with chopper stabilization technology and built-in multi-protection circuits, the device supports an ultra-wide operating voltage of 3.8 V to 60 V and delivers stable output across the full temperature range of -40 ℃ to 150 ℃. It provides an all-in-one solution to resolve position and rotational speed sensing challenges for applications such as car windows, tailgates, brushless DC motors and valve detection, delivering cost-effective domestic magnetic sensing solutions for automotive Tier 1 suppliers and industrial equipment manufacturers.

Built on Robust Automotive-Grade Foundation, Stable Operation Under Harsh Environments

Vehicle power fluctuation, extreme temperature differences, ESD surges and reverse power connection are the major root causes of failure for automotive sensors. The KTH2562L delivers comprehensive hardware-level protection and complies with the AEC-Q100 automotive qualification standard:

Ultra-wide Temperature Range for Full Vehicle Operating Conditions

It operates steadily from -40 ℃ to 150 ℃ without parameter drift during cold start in frigid outdoor environments or high-temperature engine bay operation. The BRP tolerance is limited to only ±10% across the entire temperature spectrum. Adopting chopper stabilization and on-chip temperature compensation circuits, it eliminates the drawbacks of conventional Hall sensors, including sensitivity degradation at high temperatures and signal offset at low temperatures.

Premium ESD Protection

It features 6000 V HBM ESD and 500 V CDM ESD ratings, effectively preventing electrostatic breakdown during vehicle wiring harness plugging/unplugging and factory assembly, which significantly reduces production defect rates.

Dual Hardware Protection: Reverse Power & Output Overcurrent

The VCC pin withstands reverse voltage up to -40 V, so the chip remains intact even if power supply polarity is reversed. An integrated OCP overcurrent limiter clamps the sink current at 45 mA. It automatically limits current under short-circuit or load surge conditions and resumes normal operation once faults are cleared.

Wide Voltage Design 3.8 V ~ 60 V Without External Regulators

No external LDO voltage regulator is required. It is directly compatible with 12 V/24 V automotive power supplies and high-voltage power supplies for power tools. This simplifies the peripheral BOM, saves PCB layout space and cuts overall material costs of end products.

Dual Bipolar Latch Design with Two Sensitivity Options for Flexible Selection

The KTH2562L is a digital bipolar latch Hall sensor capable of detecting both north and south magnetic poles. It retains its output state after the magnetic field is removed, eliminating the need for a continuous magnetic field to hold the signal, enabling accurate and stable rotational speed counting and position latching detection.

Two Magnetic Sensitivity Grades for Custom Selection

  • KTH2562LA (20 Gs)BOP=±20 G, BRP=∓20 G. Suitable for low-magnetic-field applications and close-range detection with small magnets. It features a magnetic hysteresis of 40 Gs to resist stray magnetic interference.
  • KTH2562LC (50 Gs)BOP=±50 G, BRP=∓50 G. Designed for strong magnetic field and long-distance detection scenarios. It suppresses electromagnetic noise from motors and fits sensing structures with large air gaps.



High-Speed Response with Clean & Stable Signal Output

The power-up time is merely 8 µs, enabling instant magnetic field detection upon device startup with zero delay.
Adopting open-drain NMOS output with a maximum sink current of 45 mA, it can directly drive relays and MCU I/O ports.
It delivers excellent rise/fall edge speed of output signals. When paired with a simple RC filter, it fully meets the requirements of high-frequency rotational speed sampling.

Full Coverage of Multiple Packages to Adapt to Diverse Structural Designs


All series feature standardized 3-pin definitions, differentiated only by package outline with consistent pin logic. Seamless replacement and switching are supported, compatible with both SMD surface-mount and through-hole manufacturing processes.

PCB Layout Friendly:

Copper traces underneath the chip will not interfere with magnetic fields. Place the bypass capacitor close to the device to suppress power supply noise. Official standard application circuits are provided to help engineers accelerate design implementation.

Commutation of brushless DC motors, flow meters, valve position feedback, proximity sensing, rotational speed detection for power tools, limit switches for automation equipment.
An additional low-cost two-wire solution is supported: pull the output up to the supply voltage, and signal acquisition is realized via total supply current. This reduces wiring harness complexity and is suitable for low-cost small actuators.

极简外围电路,降低开发门槛


官方标准典型电路仅需两颗电容 + 一颗上拉电阻:

  1. VCC 端 0.1µF 陶瓷电容就近摆放,抑制电源纹波;可选 680pF 滤波电容优化输出波形;

  2. OUT 引脚配置 10kΩ 上拉电阻,匹配开漏输出特性;

  3. 器件兼容 0~60V 输出上拉电压,上拉电源可独立于芯片供电,适配多电压控制系统。

布局指南同步配套:上拉电阻靠近 MCU 输入端,铁磁元器件远离感应区域,避免磁场偏移,官方提供标准封装焊盘尺寸,直接导入 PCB 库。
