Product Description

Description of PT2489L

PT2489L is a monolithic integrated motor driver specifically designed for printers, scanners, or household appliances. It adopts a dual-channel H-bridge architecture, which can drive bipolar stepper motors or two brushed DC motors.

The H-bridge driver is composed entirely of N-channel MOSFETs, enabling a maximum output current of up to 2.5A (with VM=24V and Ta=25°C). The phase/enable input interface is a common configuration for motor drivers; it features high flexibility and can control H-bridge switching to regulate the current and phase of motor windings. The motor current decay mode is programmable via a three-state input pin.
PT2489L is available in a 28-pin HTSSOP package with an exposed thermal pad.
