![]() | Introduction to ACM6252 ACM6252 is a single-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motor driver IC with built-in H-bridge power MOSFETs. It supports control via an external single Hall sensor, operates from 3.1V to 24V, and allows flexible configuration of square-wave or sine-wave drive. It is specially designed for low-noise, high-efficiency motor applications such as fans and water pumps. The chip features PWM soft switching and soft start, effectively reducing motor vibration and noise during operation. It supports dual speed control modes: PWM duty cycle and external analog voltage. The speed profile can be flexibly configured through pins to adapt to various control requirements. A built-in 5V LDO (maximum output 30mA) can directly power external Hall sensors and peripheral circuits. It provides comprehensive protection functions, including over-current, locked-rotor, under-voltage / over-voltage, over-temperature and anti-backflow protection, improving system reliability. Continuous drive capability: 1.2A at 12V, 0.8A at 24V, with peak current up to 1.2A. Available in TSSOP16 and DFN10 packages, the device is compatible with Hall switches and Hall elements. With an extremely simple peripheral circuit, it can greatly shorten the development cycle and reduce BOM cost, making it an ideal driving solution for low-power single-phase BLDC motors. |
